About Shorewood Country Club

Shorewood is truly a very special place. It is a place where old and new friends meet & gather, and where special memories are made. Our goal is to offer you a comfortable environment where you can relax, socialize, entertain, and enjoy some of the finest golf, pool and social amenities in Western New York.

Founded in 1918, Shorewood offers one of the best dining venues in the area. With a full-service bar, intimate private dining, an outdoor patio, and banquet facilities, Shorewood is the place that can meet all of your personal and business needs. The Clubhouse Restaurant can accommodate private dining parties and social functions for up to 250 people. With a wide variety of food and beverage options on our menu, a beautiful clubhouse facility, and a breathtaking view of Lake Erie, Shorewood Country Club is a truly unique venue.

We have many wonderful social traditions at the Club. With events such as our Easter Brunch, Mothers Day Brunch, Mix and Mingle, Summer Bash, the Nine & Dine, the Seafood Fest on the Lake, the H.K. Williams Tournament, Pub Night (Thanksgiving eve), the Holiday Party and Dance, and the Winter Closing Party, there's something for everyone to enjoy!

Shorewood is one of Western New York's oldest private golf clubs, and one of the only courses located on the shores of Lake Erie. Superintendent, John Swoyer, has been with the Club for over 30 years. He oversees a well-maintained, enjoyable 18 holes of golf. Shorewood is known for their excellent greens, no tee times required, and a fast pace of play (under 4 hours). The Club has a large practice green and driving range for members to hone their games.

The Club’s pool facilities include a large heated pool that is staffed late June through Labor Day. Lessons and clinics are available for member's and their families. Our full-service bar is just off the pool area and available for our member's convenience. With a brand new fire pit added in the summer of 2016, you will be able to kick back and relax with family and friends. Come to the many wonderful parties on the patio during the summer, or even host your own.

The women of Shorewood (SWA) are also very active in club activities, such as the Shorewood book club, sponsoring special culinary events, and adding their creative eye to party planning and clubhouse decorations. We would encourage you to consider becoming involved with this dynamic, fun-filled group.
